Car Parking Management Strategy The management of the car parking on site will be on a permit basis and no individual parking spaces will form part of the tenancy of a property. Enforcement will form part of the site management responsibilities. The permit arrangements are set out below. Disabled Persons Parking Disabled persons (resident) with a ‘right to park’ to have a permit for using a blue badge parking space will need to fulfil the following criteria: i. Have displayed a valid blue badge for the vehicle owner, or a member of their household if they are a resident. ii. Own a road worthy vehicle. iii. The vehicle must be registered and insured at an address within the development. The above criteria will be periodically reviewed to make allowance for temporary/short term blue badges being issued by the local authority. Standard Residents Parking A resident with a right to park will only be provided with a permit for using a parking space on the evidence that a resident: i. Owns a road worthy vehicle. ii. The vehicle must be registered and insured at an address within the development. The permit will be terminated should the resident no longer require a parking space. This will not affect your ‘right to park’. The ‘right to park’ can be redeemed by the resident with the site management. This would relinquish the resident’s ability to park a vehicle within the development. Should this occur, the space would be pooled in the first instance for take up by another resident within the development; should there become a significant number of unused car parking spaces, some of these may be considered for repurposing, subject to necessary planning considerations being met.
