Electric parking provision The development will provide electric vehicle charging points (EVCP) which meet the minimum requirement in London Plan 2021, with 20% of the total parking provision having an active electric vehicle charging point and the remaining bays having a passive provision. A total of four spaces have been enabled with electric vehicle charging points. Passive provision is made for all the remaining spaces. Residents will be notified of the active and passive electric vehicle charging provision (EVCP) and if required provided with instructions on how to operate it. The management company will review the level of use of EVCP spaces and make any changes to provision as necessary. PARKING CONTROLS Access The car parking for the development will be accessed from Melfield Gardens to the south. The site road is private and maintained by the Site Management. Control of all parking and loading activities within the site will be monitored via CCTV. Car Park Arrangement The car park arrangement is 18 parallel and longitudinal bays to the south of East Block. Two sets of two disabled spaces are provided to the north and south of west block. Appropriate vehicle and pedestrian signage will be provided for guidance for all users. Appropriate penalty charges will be levied against inappropriate car park space use or abandoned vehicles and will be clearly signed.
