These points are for those who are unable to leave via the stairs, such as those with mobility or cognitive differences. Should you find yourself in this situation then push the call button and wait for the first responder. Please note the response to this call may be protracted. Therefore, should conditions at the refuge point deteriorate you should make your way into the stair enclosure and wait on the landing.
